After 3 months of trial and limited users, social networking, Google + was officially open to all registered participants.
Wrote on its official blog, Vic Gundotra, vice president of Google's social, said: "We have tested 99 different features in the original Google + social networks. Now the first 100 features are matched: open to everyone. "
In addition to opening for public subscription, Google + also improve the chat feature video Hangouts (features were rated as outstanding and the "trump card" in the battle with Facebook), allowing users to use this feature on devices running the Android operating system (version 2.3 or higher).
Google + also incorporates additional search capabilities, allowing searches on content sharing and social networking sites across the Internet. "Just type in what you need to search in the search box of Google +, we will return results that other users have uploaded as well as popular content on the website" - Gundotra wrote.
Although Google + limited number of users involved in the testing process, only those who received invitations were allowed to register and participate in social networks, within the first month of release, Google + was quickly reached be 20 million users.
But since then, social networks seem to lose their heat, as some users tend to be slow, and activities of members is not too exciting as what Google has planned.
One of the main reasons that this happens is that Google has shut down its social network for too long, while many people are eager to test new things. Now, with the opening of the Google + community, Google has started to accept "the game", and if Google + else fails, perhaps no longer any reason to quibble over this failure of Google.
