Research In Motion (RIM) has announced security systems for business customers called Mobile Fusion. The system is capable of operating on Apple iPhone and Google Android.
According to RIM, Mobile Fusion is a security system that the company set up exclusively for mobile devices iPhone and Android which is now rapidly replacing the BlackBerry in the enterprise market. This system will officially appear in May 3 / 2012.
Mobile Fusion promises to provide strong security capabilities on the BlackBerry smartphone for other brands (iPhone and Android). This has become a necessity of the enterprise market which has begun to allow (require) employees to use personal mobile devices for work purposes as a way to reduce costs.
Fusion Mobile is not simply an application. Instead, the software will rely on RIM's BlackBerry Enterprise server which is used exclusively to support the company's BlackBerry devices. Mobile Fusion will allow the IT department can perform delete, lock and intrusion on other devices connected to the remote system.
In an interview with Reuters, said Alan Panezic, vice president of product management enterprise array of RIM, said: "We will take advantage of any operating system to give users the ability to protect strong password. We will not let corporate data leaks in any manner or form. "
This shows that RIM believes Fusion Mobile is a security management platform, the individual activities like what the company has to do with actual BlackBerry.
