T-Mobile G1 running Android version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Although T-Mobile G1 was introduced from 10/2008, ie 3 years ago but the product was still able to run Android OS version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich after jcarrz1 member posted this information on XDA Developers Forum.
jcarrz1 to introduce alpha version of the operating system is based on source code that Google Ice Cream Sandwich has to offer. Point worth mentioning, in the smartphone world, three-year period is very long when it comes to the development of hardware and software. For example, the OS version of Apple's new mobile iOS 5 which requires users to use the iPhone 3G version launched in 2009 or more users can run. While the Android smartphone market, the new OS version is not the most popular on the mobile device is too old. Therefore, the Ice Cream Sandwich running on T-Mobile G1 made by HTC which launched three years ago actually cause attention to the user.
According jcarrz1, version T-Mobile G1 running ICS has the drawback that does not support features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and screen rotation.
Ice Cream Sandwich is the operating system was introduced on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is a device much more powerful than the T-Mobile G1 specs.
In the ICS is designed to G1 alpha, jcarrz1 show features such as the unlock screen, install applications, phone applications and the clock will run on this device. Of course, the processing speed of this device work slow because of the hardware inside.
