Asus Germany has said that the company has no plans to release a 3G version of the tablet Prime Transformer 10.1 inches, but the company has launched a few weeks ago.
On the Facebook page of Asus Germany, said his company is not particularly interested in UMTS version of Transformers Prime and news that this will not affect the development of Prime Transformer.
The Asus claims that, though UMTS is a strong demand for users in Germany, but for many other countries, UMTS network is not really popular and so sales will not be the Prime Transformer What is affected if the company does not release UMTS.
Not only that, Asus also said that most developers UMTS network in Germany through the Telco channel and requires a contract price supports, while the price it really is not something that Asus period product prospects for its Eee Pad Transformer Prime.
While information on the UMTS version of Prime Transformer is clear, but the company has not released any information about whether or not the network version supports CDMA / EVDO or LTE. Of course the existence of these versions depends on the U.S. market, not to mention a willingness to support price policy of the network in this country.
As we all know, Prime Transformer is a 10.1 inch tablet PC models support quad core processor Nvidia's Tegra 3, built-in GPS, gyro, SonicMaster sound, 1.2 megapixel camera back front and rear 8 Mpx.
Prime Transformer is expected on shelves in the U.S. ranges from 12-19/12 with reservations at the sites in the U.S., Canada and Europe from 492 USD (363.5 Euro).
