Panasonic will return to the smartphone market in 3 / 2012

Five years after withdrawing from the international market due to the smartphone competition, Panasonic is planning to return to this segment by launching a new smartphone in Europe in March / 2012.
Panasonic statement released on Friday (9 / 12), also revealed the specific objectives the company wants to achieve in this return. According to Panasonic towards global smartphone sales of the company reached 15 million units in 2016, with 6 million units in Japan and 9 million units the company offers worldwide. Reportedly, sales of Panasonic mobile phones has reached its peak in 2003, with 8.9 million units sold.
Panasonic also introduced a model of the new Android smartphone was developed specifically to support the company's sales abroad. The phone will be equipped with an OLED 4.3 inch screen has a resolution with the ability qHD waterproof, dustproof and more integrated NFC technology (near Media) for payment of electronics.
Although not disclose the sales price, Panasonic said its new smartphone will target business audience aged 30 to 40 years old.
