RIM officially released the BlackBerry App World 3.1

Applications BlackBerry App World has launched a new version, incorporating many improvements more convenient for users in the search and selected applications from BlackBerry App World.

The features of the BlackBerry App World 3.1 include:

• Request a gift: BlackBerry users can send to friends in the BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) for their donation request application, themes, or games from the BlackBerry App World.
• Support Wi-Fi: BlackBerry App World earlier can always be accessed through WiFi, but still requires a cellular connection. With the BlackBerry App World 3.1, mobile connectivity is no longer needed.
• Evaluation and refinement of content: BlackBerry users can now view the contents of each assessment and may be informed of the contents of the application. The assessment is based on "Guidelines for application content classification and evaluation" of the CTIA Mobile Association (CTIA Wireless Association).
• Language support: BlackBerry App World 3.1 has added several new languages, including Dutch, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, China and Vietnam.
