Information Technology: CES 2012: Asus introduced two new tablets this year

Consumer electronics exhibition this year is considered an opportunity for manufacturers launched products capable of competing with the market iPad tablet (MTB). Asus is no exception with about 2 MTB Android will be available this year.

Asus eee Prime Transformer Pad

The first is an updated version of the Transformer Prime TF700T called Prime Transformer. These changes include 10.1 inch screen with resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (Full HD 1080p standard). The screen is made with Super IPS panel + and the exterior glass Gorilla Glass. With this design, Transformer Prime TF700T MTB screen is the sharpest display.

The main technical parameters will remain the same, including quad-core processor Nvidia Tegra 3 speed 1.2 GHz, 64 GB internal memory. Also, Asus offers a new control, enhancing the operation of the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Meanwhile, the No. 2 MTB's electronic debut in Taiwan this year will target segment small screen devices, where the Amazon Kindle Fire is dominant.
Memo, the name of this device, a 7 inch screen with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel, equivalent to the common on the MTB today.

Asus to bring their products Qualcomm processor 2 of 8260, the rate of 1.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM memory and maximum memory of 32 GB. The MTB is also equipped with front camera (1.3 Mpx) for video chat features and the camera (5 megapixel) camera capable of Full HD 1080p.

Both the two products are running on the platform Andoid 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Price of TF700T will stay at around 599 USD to 699 USD, MEMO has not yet been set manufacturers selling price. Both the two products will be available in North America from quarter 2 / 2012.
