Discover the components inside the new Apple iPad

While the site continually offering technology reviews praise the third generation of the Apple iPad, the company specialized repair equipment to do the job iFixit "traditional": disassembled and examined the inner structure of the iPad.

Revealing chip processor SoC (System on chip) AX5. Microprocessor technology uses dual processor's integrated graphics processors 4 cores. Apple claims the new chip will allow increased graphics processing capability of this iPad to 4 times higher than the previous generation, and even beyond 3 of the Nvidia Tegra chip.

Like the previous design, the battery iPad dominate the chassis area.

Chris Foresman of Ars Technica site calculates the energy density of battery size battery's quite similar to the previous generation iPad, about 0.0014 watt-hours / mm ^ 3. Apple has increased the size of each battery plate to about 70% to meet the new screen and the technology is upgraded in this version.
