In addition to adding support for 3G connectivity, the new version of Sony Tablet S does not have any differences in design and features. This model is equipped with dual core processor Nvidia Tegra 2 1 GHz speed, 9.4 inch touch screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1 GB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera with Exmor R sensor and supports 720p HD video recording, 0.3 megapixel front camera phone has the support, SD card slot, microUSB 2.0 port, headphone, Bluetooth 2.1 with ERD, IR features, accelerometer sensor, light sensor light and electronic compass.
The tablet runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb, size 241.2 x 174.3 x 10.1 to 20.6 mm and weighing 625 grams, slightly heavier version only supports the Wi-Fi (weighing 589 grams).
The 3G version of the Tablet S was sold through the Sony booth at the UK retail price 549 GBP (approximately 857 USD). While version supports Wi-Fi is sold along with price 547 USD and 671 USD respectively for the capacities of 16 GB and 32 GB.
