Qualcomm launches game store for Android devices

Qualcomm has said the game will introduce storage devices for use Anrdoid its Snapdragon chip, called GameCommand. This application store will also appear at CES 2012 here.
About two months ago, Qualcomm has unveiled plans to release this application stores. The company also said it will include more than 100 games, all with the quality and the interface is optimized for devices using Snapdragon processor.
Qualcomm's GameCommand limited to those devices using chipsets like Nvidia's Tegra Zone launches, market applications for Tegra processors 2. With this application, users will have the opportunity to quickly access, manage and exclusively use the games are optimized for Snapdragon processor.
Qualcomm also reveal some exclusive game is available on Android devices using Snapdragon processor such as Heroes and The Ball Fight Game. There is also the Bunny Maze 3D game from Eyelead Software and Desert Winds from Southend Interactive.
So with GameCommand Android users will not have to take time to find the game on the Android Market that can quickly find and install the game exclusive to its devices.
GameCommand application will be posted on Qualcomm Android Market on 10/01/2012, this is also the opening day of CES 2012.
The new Qualcomm said it would introduce only GameCommand at the first North American market next week and have not confirmed plans to launch applications in other markets.

S4 - tablet running quad-core processor Qualcomm's first

Computer Snapdragon platform Windows 8 will come in late in 2012

Personal computers running Windows 8 on the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that may be released later in 2012.
Reports from New.com in a meeting with investors in New York, Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs said the company worked with Microsoft to ensure that the processor will make its Snapdragon work well with Windows 8. Microsoft announced earlier this year that Windows 8 will be made to run on the ARM processor as to what they will do with Qualcomm.

Some people have pointed out that the PC Windows 8 running on an ARM processor will not run with older software programs designed for the Windows operating system in the past. However, Qualcomm executive vice president, Steve Mollenkopf said that it would not be a problem for the PC Windows 8 running on their platform. Many common PC applications will be rewritten to work on processors designed by ARM and Snapdragon. He also said that other applications will be moved to storage space on the server cloud, thereby ignoring the need of any particular processor.
He added: "For the applications that you really care, I do not see them as a significant curb growth in terms of the ARM and Windows. "

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE integrated 8.9 was released on 20/11

Nokia will use ST-Ericsson platform for WP phone

ST-Ericsson has chosen platform provider on the Windows Mobile phones of Nokia in the future. Information has been officially launched and is confirmed by the CEO of ST-Ericsson.
The ST-Ericsson has three popular mobile platform is NovaThor U9500, U8500 and U5500. All three platforms are packed with two-core processor ARM Cortex A9, ARM Mali graphics chip 400 and LP-DDR2 RAM. U8500 and U9500 in which both support 1080p HD video recording capability with an image signal processor 20 MPx. In addition, U9500 also has the ability to support dual-screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixel at a time and the ability to display 3D graphics. The remaining chips cheaper U5500, support the ability to shoot 720p HD video resolution and the image signal processor 12 MPx.
Although there is no indication that NovaThor become single platform, while Nokia may also use both platforms from Qualcomm and ST-Ericsson mobile phones in the company's future.
