Of course the above predictions have been removed following what Apple did with iPhone 4S in October, a device that changes only specific hardware and software enhancements, but not used to distinguish iPhone 4 predecessor, including a back made of glass.
4/4S iPhone owners also interested replaced by the metal shell of the third party, but with this option the user will have to accept open the device, that is void of warranty.
