A break in the Skype application information for the operating system IOS could make personal data of users stolen.
Inter-site scripting vulnerabilities (XSS) has appeared in Skype 3.0.1 and earlier versions.
This vulnerability makes the hacker creates a bad JavaScript code is triggered when users view messages in the chat window of Skype. This code can be used to access any files which Skype application access, even the phone book on the iPhone.
Skype became aware of this vulnerability and is currently looking for a fix. "We are trying our best to fix this in the next version release," Skype said.
