Visit the Acer tablet Iconia Tab A100 7 inch strong configuration

Iconia Tab A100 is Acer's first tablet is equipped with touch screen 7 inch wide. Compared to his predecessor, 10.1 inch screen A500, A100 cheaper, smaller and much more attractive.

Iconia Tab A100-based Android operating system new Honeycomb 3.2. This is the first difference of this product compared with competitors 7 inch tablet when using only version 2.2 (Froyo) or 2.3 (Gingerbread) makes users feel they are like a big-screen smartphone. Therefore, Iconia Tab A100 can be considered a good choice for those who want to choose a small tablet.

Hardware Design

A100 lacks some features compared to its predecessor A500, including full-size USB port, but the product also improved more problems.

Once armed with equipment that looks much more beautiful than the A500. Blue plastic casing with rounded edges, A100 product is not particularly prominent, but look attractive and feel good. The front face is designed flat with all black, while the Acer logo on the rear. Home physical buttons arranged just below the middle product, although not consistent with Honeycomb (which does not come with the need for physical buttons), but beauty products.

A100 is equipped with most of the ports and slots that we need, including microHDMI, microUSB, proprietary docking, microSD and audio jacks. Strange is worth of camera and speaker placement is quite strange. To use the camera behind the tablet, users should hold the product horizontally, but to listen to music or other media content, the user should be arranged vertically, because the two speakers are placed below the top equipment. Other speakers are very different than the tablet but it looks like 7 inch tablet will support this direction.
The only problem with the hardware of the Acer's screen. Although lighter than the A500 but the viewing angle (75 degrees) of the A100 is very limited. With brilliant color display at a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels, but you need to try before deciding to buy.

Specifications

Although the A100 has a smaller strength is quite similar A500. Machine still uses a dual-core processor with Nvidia Tegra 2 clock 1 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB or 16 GB of storage, 5 megapixel camera 2 megapixel rear and front. This is definitely a technical parameters are user-rated for the product.

Android 3.2 (Honeycomb)

With Android 3.2, Google operating system is designed to work across the 7 inch tablet definitely makes users happy with the product. Furthermore, real users can update to the Ice Cream Sandwich in the fall when the OS is also the official launch of the product attractive if users have long-term use.

Applications are available

Like the A500, A100 preinstalled with several applications to develop multimedia content, including nemoPlayer and Clear.fi, both are better than the default player of Google. Search directories are also good books the better, while users also get the e-book directory, games, multimedia and social networking. An application called Facebook and Twitter SocialJogger combination is also available. Documents To Go application and TegraZone is considered good, especially for those who regularly work with Google applications.
Although no application for Facebook tablet (because Facebook does not provide this application), but the A100 comes with a link to the Facebook web page so that users can access quickly.

Cameras

The quality of photos and video of the A100 is not really impressive, even outdoor conditions. Compared with the BlackBerry PlayBook, image quality is not anything special. Only a built-in LED flashlight is a difference compared to rivals other tablet. Meanwhile, the first camera was a good review, assistance with the device and is considered quite unique.

Battery life

This is a weakness for the A100, because the small size of product specifications, while strong, A100 only provide low battery life, battery 1530 mAh activity only about 4-5 hours of use. For comparison, PlayBook BlackBerry comes with 5300 mAh battery, while the HTC Flyer uses 4000 mAh batteries. All of them make high-performance battery life than the A100.

Conclusion

Overall the A100 is the product specs and better price than any competitor in the tablet market. Sadly, the battery life is not impressive, low angle and the light reflecting the weakness of the product.
Pros:
  • Android 3.2 Honeycomb
  • Powerful specs for a 7 inch tablet
  • Great design
  • Camera flash LED rear lights
  • Good for tourism
MINUS:
  • Maximum battery life is only 4-5 hours
  • The screen is too reflective, limited viewing angle
  • Behind the poor quality camera
