Hacker stole source code from Symantec's network open and threatened to publish the source code of Norton AntiVirus 1.7 GB today (17 / 1). But Symantec says it's not a matter of concern.
Earlier this month there is news about Symantec stolen source code, including the version of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) and Symantec Antivirus 11.0 10.2, but according to Symantec says this is the complete source code does not affect to existing users.
The hackers said they had found the source code from a host of military intelligence agencies of India. The hackers also said that in hand they are holding the documents describing the procedures for the API defines the virus.
Symantec claims that Norton Utilities is currently building a new, completely different version of Norton Utilities 2006, so data loss will not affect the version that people are using. "

By profession , hackers are so good by their work.
I think the source code of Symantec antivirus should be made strong so
that it cannot be released to hackers
