Malware on Android boom

According to research by Kaspersky Lab, malicious software, also known as Android malware is growing at an alarming rate.
 
From January 2011 the malware has grown at a rate of up to 200%. By December 2011, the Internet security experts have found 82,000 different types of malware attacks on Android. And in the first two weeks of 2012 have discovered a huge number of 360,000 malware.
 
The malware attack on devices running on the Android platform appearing in many different forms. Some malware uses backdoor approach to attack the phone or tablet computer, unauthorized access to personal information of users such as bank account details or personal image. A different approach of stealing malware accounts as they are automatically sent to your phone from a large volume of text messages to phone numbers for a fee. In addition, hackers also use some other tricks like installing the tool to automatically download and launch malicious programs on the user's device.
 
The malicious file as root and Exploit.AndroidOS.Lotoor.j Exploit.AndroidOS.Lotoor.g was detected by Kaspersky as of 1/2. The information of this malware have been updated on the database system, so if you are using Kaspersky Mobile Security or Kaspersky Security Tablet, you have to be protected.

Many Android steal private data of users

Many applications in the top 50 free applications on the Android Market is able to steal private data at a high level of the user such as contact list advertising purposes.
