More than three years after the release of the EOS 5D Mark II, Canon has announced a new version of the 5D full-frame camera called 5D Mark III is equipped with many improved features over its predecessor.
The biggest change that Canon brings to the Mark III is equipped with 22.3 megapixel CMOS image sensor with Digic image processor V +. As a result, the machine offers an ISO range from 50 to 102,400 (compared to the original 100-25600), while able to achieve continuous shooting speed up to 6 frames / sec video recording capability with high definition. Specifically, it provides Full HD 1080p video (24/25/30 frames / sec) or 720p (50/60 frames / second) with stereo sound quality.
Some other improvements of the EOS 5D Mark III is the ability to autofocus on high-density 61 points and 63-zone metering system, optical viewfinder capable of covering 100% of the LCD 3 , 2 inches to provide 1.04 million pixels, the headphone jack to monitor audio levels during filming.
Canon EOS 5D Mark III is expected on shelves in late March to the retail price is around 3499 USD for the body. In addition, users can purchase additional zoom lens EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM with a retail price of 4299 USD.
