This week, Samsung has officially announced support for VMware's Android emulator. This project will bring Android emulator program to the business audience to use the tablet tablet or smartphone.
Named Horizon Mobile, this project will allow the two operating systems run in parallel on the same Android mobile device, similar to the simulator on a personal computer and server. Specifically, the user can easily switch between different phone systems on the same device, one for work and one for personal privacy.
VMware believes that this project will be useful for the department manages the technology and security in business environment where many people now concerned about the security of smartphones. With this technology, virus or other malicious software is downloaded at the operating system for individuals can not affect the operating system for work, to avoid leakage of information or material. Admin would have full power to manage the simulator, custom utilities, allowing use of resources and even remote wipe in case of missing equipment.
This project has support from several companies, including LG. But with the support of Samsung will bring a large array of Android Market for VMware. Horizon will be available on Mobile Phone Samsung S Galaxy II, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9, along with many devices will be released in the coming months.
